Statement of President of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance for the arrest of the guard of the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem by Israeli forces

Appalled to learn of the arrest of the guard of the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem by Israeli forces at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, during the Holy Fire ceremony.

I strongly condemn this aggressive act, that occurred during a most holy day for Orthodoxy.
